Abraham Low-Self Help Systems Announces 2009 Awards Winners
Winners to be Honored at 2009 Annual Meeting
CHICAGO – May 1, 2009 – Abraham Low Self-Help Systems announces its 2009 awards winners. The following are this year’s honorees:
- Treasure Rice Award, Bob Dey
The Treasure Rice Award is given to someone who has furthered the mission of Abraham Low Self-Help Systems by helping with expansion of Recovery International and The Power to Change or making those programs household words. - Award for Professional Support, Donald T. Lee, MSW, LCSW
The Award for Professional Support is given in recognition of outstanding support of the work of Abraham Low and Abraham Low Self-Help Systems. The award is given to a professional of any degree (i.e. psychiatrist, social worker, M.D., Ph.D., etc.) to honor support they have given to any Abraham Low Self-Help Systems program. - Phil Crane Distinguished Service Award, Bob MacIntyre
The Phil Crane Distinguished Service Award is a lifetime achievement award for distinguished service to Abraham Low Self-Help Systems at the international level. - Kathy Garcia Innovation Award, Debra Lamp, Oregon State Hospital
The Kathy Garcia Innovation Award is given for the creative and innovative use of any of the Abraham Low Self-Help Systems programs. The award may be given to an individual, an agency or an entity (governmental body).
