I am handling my Mother's finances. I noticed that one of her insurance companies took out double what her monthly premiums normally are from her bank account (automatic payment). This worked me up.
Some muscular tension and lowered feelings. Is this a mistake or did they raise her premiums? What am I going to do if it was raised. If so, then I will have to shop around for another insurance company. Imagination on fire: visualizing having to call around for another insurance company and seeing myself feeling anxious about taking some time away from work during regular business hours.
Angry temper at the company and the situation. Fearful temper in feeling overwhelmed, confused, and preoccupied. What I know is that I don't know what is going on. I decided to call the insurance company on Monday about this. A firm decision will steady us. Calm begets calm and temper begets temper. Discomfort is to be humbly tolerated, patiently borne, and bravely faced. Expectations and disappointments.
Before Recovery, I would have complained about this to my Husband. I would have been more angry and frustrated. After Recovery, I used the tools to work down my tempers and I know that this is a triviality compare to my mental health.

The writer became a leader to herself.
She worked it out, rather than working the situation up.
She didn't engage in the complaining habit with her husband. |

Example giver can endorse for being group minded in handling her mother's affairs. Spot some undesirable exceptionality The most exquisite form of spotting is to know that you do not know. Example giver was able to function in spite of symptoms. Don't preview the future fearfully; stay in the present moment. Example giver can trust her basic functions. Example giver is practicing RI with a ruthless determination, and not a loose wish. Endorse for the efforts, not necessarily the success. |

Sandy should endorse herself for controlling her speech muscles and not complaining to her husband. She is making a business of her mental health. She used objectivity to terminate a panic when she called the insurance company.
Temper must be elimated because it is the sworn enemy of mental health. We cannot control outer environment, we can only hope to control our inner responses to the outer environment. |

| Sandy is being very group minded by handling her mother's finances. I spot the insurance company is not aiming at her. She is deciding, planning and acting what to do next. High average use of the method. |
